Annual Turkey Fest - November
Cities In Schools Aurora holds our annual Turkey Fest event to raise funds both for our Daytime Counseling program and our Coats for Kids Initiative. These two programs are essential for Aurora students in the winter months. Each year at our Turkey Fest CISA experiences the generosity or our community as we come together to support our youth and have fun doing it!

Coats for Kids - October-March
In partnership with the Kiwanis Club of Aurora and the City of Aurora, CISA helps organize the annual Coats for Kids initiative each fall. Approximately 1.500 coats are purchased each year and distributed to all Aurora schools. The coats we provide are brand new and free to students. We work closely with school social workers across Aurora to ensure students in need are matched up with the perfect winter coat. We are honored to help keep Aurora students safe and warm each winter.
Summer Camps - June and July
In conjunction with The City of Aurora, School Districts 129, 131, 204 and 308, Cities In Schools Aurora provides free summer camps to Aurora students for 4-6 weeks each year.
Our camps' goal is to provide youth in Aurora a structured, supervised and stable environment during the summer.
Children should look forward to coming each day where they can learn new skills, make new friends, experiment with ideas, and grow in self-esteem. Children will have the opportunity to build friendships, explore new interests with other children and with each staff member. The importance of cooperation, friendship, teamwork, decision making, responsibility, trust and distinguishing between right and wrong through their experience will be emphasized continuously.

Fundraising - Spaghetti Dinner - Dates TBD
Fun for the whole family - and delicious, too! Olive Garden partners with CISA to host a restaurant-quality spaghetti dinner event. All proceeds from these dinners are invested directly into CISA programming that supports the Aurora community.
